hi Mohammad,
all servers are domain members and they have an internet connection to keep them fully updated even when our WSUS servers should fail or delay updates.
SQL 2012 has been installed as domain admin account and CRM 4.0 (rollup 21) uses it with no issue since some weeks.
I have created some dedicated domain accounts for sandbox, web, asyn, .. etc CRM2011 services.... and I see a "nice green screen" at the end of the configuration just before installation.
I have found the page blogs.msdn.com/.../installing-crm-2011-on-windows-server-2012.aspx and it seems that i have to manually(?) install:
1) File and Storage Services;
2) Web Server (IIS);
3) .Net Framework 3.5 Features;
4) .NET Framework 4.5 Features;
5) Windows Search Service.
roles and features.
It is not clear to me if such roles are installed automatically or I do need to manually install them, I will check it in few days and keep you up to date with any news.
When installation starts it accesses and updates MSCRM_Config database then it breaks. At the end of the installation attempt, I have to restore MSCRM_Config from backup to let CRM 4.0 work again!
Thanks
Valerio
