Forum Post: CRM Connection Issues - Can not authenticate credentials

Whilst I know this question has been asked several times before I have been through most of the suggested workarounds but I have not been able to solve my issue.

I am running Office 365 and have downloaded Office 2013 including Outlook. I have Dynamics CRM online and trying to integrate this with Outlook using the CRM for outlook addin.I am running on Windows 8. Unfortunately I am receiving the error:

"Cannot connect to Microsoft Dynamics CRM server because we cannot authenticate your credentials"

I have tried the following:-

1) Checked the credentials by signing into CRM online.

2) Reinstalling with Antivirus and Firewall turned off.

3) Trying to connect with firewall turned off

4) Creating new user

5) Checking Time and date clock

6) Checking sign in assistant

Any help will be much appreciated as trialling dynamics for our company launch in September, but without outlook integration this would not be appropriate.
